Catching Eels

 We have been reading about eels.  This article was about traditional ways of catching eels.  We then had to research different ways people catch eels.  Here is my DLO.

Vocabulary

This is my prereading taks.  We had to use our prior knowledge to say what we think these words meant.  After we read the book we had to revise our definition.  Our text was about looking after waterways.

Gallipoli

This is my DLO for our class Anzac timeline.  We had to research one event from WW1.  

Pompeii discovery

 Today we read an article about Pompeii. They had found  chariot that is 2000 years old. It would have been used for a bride. 

Our big question was should the artefact be removed and put somewhere else or should it remain where it is. I think it should stay where it was found because it's history.

high school kids

When I felt proud

I felt proud when i finish making a motor bike because they are really hard to make because you can get the wiring wrong and blow it up.

For the week my class has been making monsters and writing about their body parts. They are  feet,eyes and horns and we had to use adjectives and I liked making the monster and writing about them.
